Concert review

The BMS concert season began in the sumptuous surroundings of the Empire Hotel with a return of the ever popular duo Double Take.

Double Take was followed in February by a welcome return of Evelyn Hii, Wendy Yong and Eddy Chin, a effervescent vocal trio from Malaysia.

Antony Peebles did not need much introduction, this being his 8th visit to Brunei Darussalam. His sumptuous and powerful playing of works by Franz Liszt is recognized around the world and the intensity and quality of his Ravel - Gaspard de la Nuit for this concert - is quite exceptional.
